Type: Farm stand, Apple picking, Fruit picking Description:

Wickham's Farm stand is located in Cutchogue on the North Fork of Long Island, about 90 miles from NYC, and specializes in fruit, tomatoes, asparagus, rhubarb and corn. U-pick berries, pumpkins, peaches and apples are available (in season). Doughnuts, pies, baked goods, jams. This farm started a members-only club ($20 a year) that restricts access to the fields and orchards -- so you'll often find less of a crowd. Walk or take a free wagon ride out to its semi-dwarf apple trees.

U-pick apples U-pick club membership required per family, then $30 per half-bushel (about 24-25 pounds). More than 12 varieties are available -- including early varieties (Ginger Gold, Graven- stein) and late season picks (Razor, Braeburn and Winesap).

VARIETIES More than 12 early and late, including Ginger Gold, Gravenstein and Gala; and late varieties such as Mutsu, Fuji, Razor, Braeburn and Winesap
