Jacquie (my spouse) came running to get me in the office; "quick come see this and grab your camera" At first it was just a blur of red and blue flying overhead, but then settled down under the bird feeder in the back. Lots of knocked down bird seed and sunflower seeds which this guy settled in and started eating. I did catch him with a seed in his beak. A young bird and obviously someone did not get around to clipping his wings prior to opening the front door. From the looks of him and his beautiful colors he certainly was 5 to a grand that flew off on his new owner. I was fortunate enough to get a few good shots and enclosed is one. First parrot we have ever seen out in the wilds of our back yard. A real treat! JC
