It's not exactly the Great White Way. But Main Street in Northport could be called Long Island's "Little Broadway."
Aside from one fully professional playhouse, the John W. Engeman Theater, which delivers its cast to and from Manhattan by limousine, Northport has three other theaters on Main Street, plus one more around the corner - Off Little Broadway.
