When Bellator moves to Spike in 2013, fights will air live on Thursday nights at 10 p.m. beginning on Jan. 17, the company announced Tuesday.

Season 8 for Bellator brings a new network, new night, new time slot, new logo, new fighters and new title fights. The season kicks off with Pat Curran vs. Patricio Pitbull for the featherweight title. That night will end with a second title fight as Mike Chandler defends his lightweight championship belt against Rick Hawn.

Expect to see Renato "Babalu" Sobral, Mike Guymon, Seth Petruzelli and more recognizable names in Bellator's five tournaments this season.
