Tanger Outlets at The Arches (yup, lots of architectural arches -- 800,000 or so square feet modeled after a stucco Tuscan village) has more than 70 stores. And can you find a bargain? Oh, yeah.
For a true day of bargain shopping, search the mall directory and pre-print the mall map, make a plan, set a budget and come prepared with water and snacks.
If you're not in the mood to actually shop, there's ice skating in the winter, a fountain to site around in the summer, Regal Cinemas with 16 theaters, dining options including Nathan's Famous and Johnny Rocket's, a full-service New York Sports Club (to work off the hot dogs and burgers) and a Golf Etc. where you can play 18 holes anywhere in the world -- virtually, of course.
Ice skating: An outdoor oval skating rink that encircles a 50-foot Christmas tree in the complex's center court. Open Monday-Friday, 3-9 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 11-9 p.m. $10 admission, free admission under age 5, $4 skate rental weekends; $7 admission and $3 skate rental weekdays.
Hours: Monday-Saturday: 9 a.m.-9 p.m.
Sunday: 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
