It's not uncommon to see fashion brands ripping off other designers like Christian Louboutin's famous red-soled shoes or Louis Vuitton's coveted handbags. But reality star Khloe Kardashian and NBA player husband Lamar Odom could be in trouble for copying a more unlikely target . . . the New York State Department of Agriculture.

The New York Daily News reported Monday that they obtained documents from Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo's administration demanding that Kardashian and Odom's fashion line, Rich Soil, stop selling a T-shirt with a logo that bears a striking resemblance to the one used to identify food grown in New York.

The shirt, sold for $35 at richsoilclothingstore.com, takes the circular "Pride of New York" logo and replaces the words with "Rich Soil New York" in a similar font. The Statue of Liberty is in the middle of both, but the T-shirt in question replaces the picture of a farm used by the state with Rich Soil's trumpet logo.

According to the Daily News, the documents state that if Rich Soil does not stop selling the shirt within five days and provide an estimate of the profit made off this design, the state will sue.

It seems Cuomo doesn't want the Kardashian name tainting his state's reputation, but if he had watched a few episodes of "Kourtney and Kim Take New York," he'd know it's a little late for that.
