Banana Republic debuts third 'Mad Men' collection
Banana Republic is taking the 1960s from television to the stores.
Later this month, it will debut a third Banana Republic "Mad Men" collection in partnership with AMC because the Fall 2011 and Spring 2012 lines were widely received. The collection takes inspiration from the costumes featured in the popular show.
Shoppers can find bold prints, bright colors and new silhouettes in the '60s-inspired collection for both men and women. Prices range from $29.50 to $375 for apparel and accessories.
Distinct women's pieces include a shift dress with a shorter hemline, which was very popular during that time, and accessories like a mirrored heel shoe and geometric jewelry. The menswear collection includes tailored pieces, like suits and skinny ties.
The collection will be available at select Banana Republic retail locations and online starting Feb. 27, 2013.
The Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning series will be returning for its sixth season starting April 7.
