Lewin's U-pick options also include peaches, tomatoes, peppers and eggplants. While U-pick pumpkins don't start until October, visitors can content themselves with roasted corn or a baked potato, and take a spin through the corn maze.

Corn maze $5. Don't go looking for a lot of clues to maneuver through this 4-acre, unthemed maze. "I just use numbered checkpoints so you know you're going in the general right direction," says creator Erick Lewin. Expect to spend at least 25-30 minutes in the maze.

Christmas trees selection includes Blue Spruce, Douglas Fir, White Pine, Norway Spruce and others. Hand saw provided with $5 deposit or bring your own, power saws allowed. Netting and rope to tie down tree provided. Tractor ride around farm and restroom. Hours are from 9-4 p.m. from the day after Thanksgiving to late December, arrive by 3:30 p.m. to cut your Christmas tree.
