One of spring's most anticipated arrivals is the farmers market, where suburban shoppers can buy fresh produce directly from those who grow it. This year, Long Island boasts a record 39 weekly markets, from Malverne to Montauk. A handful are already open; most start in the next two weeks. Among this year's crop are seven brand-new markets.
