Oh, to be Samantha Stevens and "Bewitch" your way through all those chores, errands and tasks that suck the life out of your evenings and weekends. If the only thing that happens when you wiggle your nose is that you sneeze, here are some fellow Long Islanders who will mobilize to make your life a little easier - traveling to your home to help out with the tasks at hand.

Precision Home Auto: 631-877-1998, Cost: $40 an hour (plus parts), travel fee charged on estimates

Owner Stephen Herman takes care of those time-consuming tasks that have you sitting at the service station for an hour - oil changes, brakes, shocks, front-end work, winterizing. He'll also come to you for pre-sale inspections or make fixes at your place of work, if the company allows it.

Fish Tank Service: 1093 N. Broadway, Massapequa, 516-551-6194, Cost: $150 a month, plus supplies (typically includes two visits, cleaning and water-testing a 20- to 90-gallon home tank)

Who wants to clean the sludge out of the fish tank? "I get calls all the time from people who think it isn't worth it to spend half their Saturday cleaning an aquarium," says Paul Cuomo, owner of Blue Marlin Aquarium Design. The business will travel to your home to put your tank on a monthly maintenance plan - or swoop in for a onetime overhaul to bring it back from neglect.

J&M Aquarium Services: 34 Maple Dr., Lindenhurst, 516-241-7828,

Long Island Aquarium Service: 130 Knickerbocker Ave., Suite A, Bohemia, 631-567-5427,

Let It Grow: 631-589-1790, Cost: $125 consultation; $100 a month (includes weekly maintenance visits).

Whether you have an ailing azalea or an unhappy ulex europaeus, Robert Syska can make your home look like you have the greenest thumb in the neighborhood. "I can help you solve problems or help you create a green space or just tell you what you can grow in your space," says Syska, who offers eco-friendly, organic plant solutions as well as conventional choices. Monthly plans include weekly visits for watering and other plant care.

Unique Plantscaping Inc.: 516-352-2857. Cost: Visits start around $45.

Nancy Durante, of Huntington-based Unique Plantscaping Inc., will help you select plants (including tropicals) and visit regularly to keep them healthy

Plant Parentage: 631-283-4810

In the Hamptons, Plant Parentage will play doctor with your plants (for example, $100 to prune an unruly ficus) or visit weekly to water and inspect plants ($100-$500 a month).

Everything That Grows: 631-361-3614, Cost: About $100 a month.

Weekly visits for plant care also can be arranged with this Nesconset company.

Home Visit Veterinarian Paul Mac Menamin: 631-589-2967, Cost: $98.50 in-house exam (tests and shots extra)

Traveling to the vet's office can be stressful for pets who don't appreciate car rides - or waiting rooms packed with fellow four-leggers. Sayville-based veterinarian Paul Menamin makes house calls for annual exams, vaccines and other nonemergency care along Suffolk County's South Shore.

Resley Soirez mobile veterinarian clinic: 631-924-3636. Cost: Visits from $55. Mileage fee charged.

In the Town of Brookhaven, Resley Soirez runs a mobile veterinarian clinic - simply walk your pet out to your driveway for basic exams and treatment.
