Description:
Drive along 25A to Centerport until you see a lineup of Harleys, Jaguars and Hondas. You'll have to go a ways to find a parking spot, and you'll probably have to share a picnic- style table with strangers. However, diners soon find out why this roadside venue has managed to survive (and thrive) for over twenty years, as the lobster roll and fried clams remain perennial favorites and the hot dogs are still meaty, simple and super-cheap ($2.25-$2.50). Sadly, The Shack closes once the summer is over, but come the spring things here are likely to roll as it has since the 1980s.
