At this hibachi restaurant, the scene during lunch is more subdued than during dinner.
After onion soup and a green salad are served, the chef tosses his knives and makes a "big fire" on the grill. After extinguishing it, he prepares fried rice, forming a heart and making it appear to "beat." After making an onion volcano, he cooks steak, shrimp and chicken with vegetables. It's all good but (like virtually all hibachi cooking), pretty plain.
The large dining room holds 12 tables, each seating 8 to 10. There's a separate sushi bar area.
Lunch in the hibachi area costs $10.05 to $14.95; dinner, $17.95 and up.
