Description:
Mirabelle Tavern is the casual offspring of Guy Reuge's four-star restaurant Mirabelle. It also is situated in the Three Village Inn in Stony Brook. The Tavern's menu recently was updated to include a $27 three-course fixed price meal. At dinner, main courses are in the $14 to $27 range; first courses, $7.50 to $12. Highlights include pulled-duck sliders, sweet-and-sour popcorn shrimp, steak au poivre with fries, fish and chops, braised pork belly atop chanterelle mushroom-and-corn ragout, Kobe beef sliders, assorted charcuterie and cheeses, and a daily preparation of foie gras.
