When a restaurant’s most famous characteristic is that it hangs brassieres from the ceiling, it’s a good guess you’ll be walking into something on the rowdy side—which is correct—but there’s more than just ladies’ underwear here at the eastern outpost of the Jeremy’s Ale House family. Instead, the focus is on beer, with 16 on tap, while the pub menu is always available for popular bar plates like wings, nachos and burgers. Meanwhile, it would be quite rare for any location along the Nautical Mile not to feature some sort of seafood, and Jeremy’s does come through—albeit with a short list of fried calamari, shrimp and crab cakes.
