Description:
One of Long Island's real restaurant gems, Henry's has been serving Glen Cove residents since 1929. For years the store was owned by the Wolke family; Joseph Valensisi bought it in 2000 and has continued the tradition of classic luncheonette fare and home-made ice cream. Lemon-custard is a flavor you'll find nowhere else but at Henry's. Come Easter, there are lines out the door for the homemade chocolate bunnies.
