Frank's is a consistent, no-surprises eatery. The motto in Jericho branch is "We Ain't Just Steaks," and that applies here, too.
There are plenty of seafood and chicken selections to appeal to the dissenters. Tasty starters include the crab cakes, crabmeat cocktail, shrimp cocktail and fried calamari with sauce remoulade. Steamed lobster and the whole roasted chicken also are recommended. The restaurant has built a reputation of sorts for its marinated Romanian skirt steak, which is juicy and sweet. Better are the porterhouse steak for two, the peppercorn-crusted rib-eye steak and the garlicky rib-eye. There's husky prime rib, too, along with pork ribs, New Zealand rack of lamb, and grilled veal chops. Cheesecake for dessert.
