The crushed tomato, fresh mozzarella and basil-topped "mama's old-fashioned" pizza at Sacramone’s Italian Restaurant in East Meadow made it into Newsday's "Pizza: 10 Long Island Pies Worth the Drive." If you want to dig into that coal-fired oven-baked pizza, you'd better get over to Sacramone's on Hempstead Turnpike before Aug. 15. That’s when the restaurant is slated to close.
