In May 2003, I began researching a story on the origins of Grandma pizza. I started a thread on grandma pizza on Chowhound's Tristate message board looking for advice. For some reason, the discussion has resumed after five years and poster Richarmstrong asked if I ever did the article. I did; it was published Oct. 8, 2003, and I reprint it here:
