It's going to be a celebratory weekend at the Besito restaurants in Huntington and Roslyn.

From Friday, Sept. 13 to Monday, Sept. 16, the two establishments are celebrating Mexican Independence Day, as well as National Guacamole Day.

Besito's guacamole, made tableside and spiced to order, is one of the best served on Long Island. Guests may submit their own favorite guacamole photo to win a $100 gift card on line, at  besitomexican.com/summersundays. Diners also may enter to win a guacamole cocktail party for eight.

To go with the festivities, Besito will have a $29 special of poblano chiles stuffed with lobster, shrimp, scallops, crabmeat, dried fruit and nuts, capped with pecan-and-goat cheese salsa and garnished with pomegranate seeds.

Specials at  $27 each will include soft corn tortillas with chicken in salsa verde, crab in tomatillo-cream salsa, and beef with guacamole and jumbo lump crabmeat.

Also, Patron, the tequila producer, will offer tequila tastings and giveaways on Monday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at both Besitos.

Besito in Huntington is at 402 New York Ave., 631-549-0100; Besito in Roslyn, 1516 Old Northern Blvd., 516-484-3001.
