In this week’s Newsday, Peter Gianotti reviews Mio Posto in Hicksville, offspring of the big-hearted original in Oceanside and serving equally generous portions of Italian-American food. “If they ever open a third,” he writes, “consider the squid an endangered species and a run on mozzarella imminent.”

Joan Reminick visits Williston Park's Opa Grille on a frigid night and finds the Greek restaurant, sibling to Opa in Bethpage, “filled with warmth . . . a pleasure to eat at.”
