The Capital Grille, the newest link in the national chain of upscale steak-and-seafood restaurants, opens today at Roosevelt Field in Garden City.
There are 48 branches across the country. This is the first on Long island. The restaurant serves lunch, starting at 11:30 a.m., Monday to Friday; and dinner every day, from 4 p.m. It's situated near the movies.
Prices for main courses at dinner range from $27 for roasted chicken to $47 for the dry-aged porterhouse. Seafood entrees go from $32 for seared citrus-glazed salmon to $40 for sushi-grade sesame-seared tuna. Lobsters are market price, available from two to four pounds.
Lunch dishes include salads ($11 to $21), sandwiches ($16 to $19) and main courses ($15 to $30).
All major credit cards are accepted.
