Southold farmers market at North Fork Table and Inn
Starting Friday, July 12, Southold’s North Fork Table & Inn will be hosting a weekly Friday farmers market on its back lawn. Three of the North Fork’s meat producers — Browder’s Birds (chickens), McCall Ranch (beef) and 8 Hands Farm (lamb) — will be selling their wares. And look for vegetables and fruit from Deep Roots, Oysterponds Berry Farm, Invincible Summer Farms (heirloom tomato specialists) and Catapano Dairy (goats-milk products).
There will also be artisanal groceries from Southold's Taste of the North Fork and baked goods from the North Fork Table’s co-owner/pastry chef, Claudia Fleming.
The market runs from 8 to 11 a.m. On its inaugural morning, the restaurant’s executive chef-partner, Gerry Hayden, will be on hand to chat about the North Fork’s sustainable food scene.
North Fork Table & Inn is at 57225 Main Rd., Southold, 631-765-0177
