Southampton Publick House: A Russian Imperial Stout
If you're fed up with the polar vortex and even more aggravated by a Seahawks-Broncos Super Bowl at MetLife Stadium, take comfort in this: Southampton Publick House is about to release its Russian Imperial Stout.
In addition to the black, regal brew, Southampton also is slated to unveil its Scotch Ale and Double Ice Bock 2014 on Feb. 8.
Order sheets will be available outside the brewery at 9 a.m. The doors open at 11 a.m. There are limits on how many bottles you can buy.
The Russian Imperial Stout is $16 for a 750ml bottle, with a limit of three per customer. These also apply to the Southampton Scotch Ale. The Southampton Double Ice Bock 2014, a twice-frozen brew that's smooth and strong, is $15 for a 7-oz. bottle. And you can buy only one.
Meantime, skip the Coors Light.
And bring on the Olympics.
