Beers from Great South Bay Brewery of Bay Shore will be poured at a brew-pairing dinner Nov. 19 at Plattduetsche Park Restaurant in Franklin Square.

The cost is $68; reservations required.

Executive chef Herbert Aigner's menu includes boneless beef short ribs with roasted garlic mashed potatoes; broiled shrimp with tomato and capers; spiced pumpkin bisque; Hudson Valley foie gras with pickled red onions and warm brioche, and chocolate 'lava' cake.

The beers include Great South Bay's Cask Ale, Massive India Pale Ale, Splashing Pumpkin Ale, Blonde Ambition Ale, Robert Moses Pale Ale and Snaggletooth Stout.

Plattduetsche Park earned a two-star rating in Newsday today.
