New and casual in Port Washington is Mole Mole Fresh Mexican Grill, under the same ownership as the nearby Mojito Cafe & Lounge and Mi Ranchito Grill. Prices range from $2 to $10.

The counter-service eatery operates under the same principle as Chipotle Mexican Grill, wherein you pick out the ingredients you want in a taco, burrito, salad or quesadilla. Chef-owner Israel Guzman named as possible proteins: pulled pork, ground beef, steak, chicken and chorizo, among others.

Guzman also offers pupusas (stuffed El Salvadoran corn cakes) with a variety of fillings, such as cheese with pork and beans or zucchini and cheese. And you can get a full-scale carne asada dinner platter, as well.

Mole Mole Fresh Mexican Grill is at 73 Main St., Port Washington, 516-321-9707.
