Luso relocates within Smithtown
Luso, a Portuguese rodizio-style restaurant in Smithtown, has moved from a small downtown space into the large freestanding building that last housed Sertino’s Cafe and, before that, hosted Sizzler. Added attractions include a more modern look, an open kitchen and an on-premise parking lot.
The main draw here is rodizio-style dining, which features meat sliced off skewers tableside in all-you-can-eat quantities (but no sharing or doggy bags). A complete rodizio dinner ($33.95 dinner and $29.95 lunch) includes such side dishes as collard greens, assorted vegetables, salad and potatoes, served family-style, in bowls or platters. Alternately, you can order individual entrees off an a la carte menu.
The restaurant also offers a price-fixed lunch, at $15, which includes a main course, such as chicken, pork, tilapia or salmon, plus side dishes and dessert.
