Long Island Restaurant Week draws near
Long Island Restaurant Week is a time eagerly anticipated by epicures looking to stretch their dining dollars. This year, it runs from Sunday, Nov. 3, to the following Sunday, Nov. 10. During that period, a three-course meal will go for $27.95 a person at about 175 dining spots, most offering it every night except Saturday, when it will run only until 7 p.m.
You might want to use the opportunity to try a few places ordinarily off budgetary limits. Or travel the world, via gastronomy. To read about 10 international picks, click here. And for the complete list of participating restaurants, go to longislandrestaurantweek.com.
