LIly Flanagan's in Islip: No more BBQ

It used to be that some of the best BBQ on Long Island could be found midday at Lily Flanagan’s in Islip. Until recently, pitmaster Will Breakstone was smoking chicken, pork, corned beef and pastrami from a mobile smoker behind the restaurant. Now, however, Breakstone — who, years earlier, had a Bay Shore BBQ takeout called Willie B’s — is no longer at Lily Flanagan’s or in the restaurant business.
These days, at Lily Flanagan's, you’ll find an Irish pub menu — with a side of OTB. No house-smoked ribs, though.
Lily Flanagan’s is at 528 Main St., Islip, 631- 581-1550.
