Giuseppe and Marisa Ruta, owners of the original La Bottega in Garden City South, will celebrate their restaurant’s 10th anniversary with a 50 percent discount that runs from March 4 to 10. The same deal prevails at the La Bottega restaurants in both Franklin Square and Roslyn but not at any of the 17 other La Bottegas dotting the Long Island landscape.

The discount will be taken off  the entire check — both food and drink — but  the deal doesn’t hold when purchasing a gift card, nor can it be combined with the restaurant’s reward card.

During the discount period, there will be a no reservations policy at participating restaurants. The La Bottega restaurants specialize in panini — Italian grill-pressed sandwiches — as well as salads and pastas.

You can also get the discount at Caffe Barocco, a tapas and wine bar next door to La Bottega in Garden City South.

La Bottega is at 147 Nassau Blvd. Garden City South 516-486-0935, 1424 Old Northern Blvd., Roslyn, 516-621-2685 and 700 Franklin Ave., Franklin Square, 516-837-3060. Caffe Barocco is at 143 Nassau Blvd., Garden City South, 516-292-0144.
