Four Irish whiskeys will be poured and paired with an eclectic menu at a dinner at Rothmann's in East Norwich Friday, March 28.

Guest speaker Sean Brown, representing the distilleries, will discuss the flavors, styles and production of the whiskeys, as well as their history.

The cost: $95 plus tax and tip. It starts at 7 p.m.

Nori-seared diver scallops will be matched with Green Spot; a sushi roll  with eel and pepper-seared tuna, with Jameson 12 Year Special Reserve; "whiskey smoked sugar brulee" sirloin steak with Redbreast 12 Year; and Colorado lamb chops with spiced sweet potato dumplings with Midleton Very Rare.
