Three Hurricane Grill & Wings restaurants — a new Garden City spot as well as the restaurants in Levittown and Syosset —  are planning to hold a fundraiser July 29 at 6 p.m. The event will assist Nassau County victims of superstorm Sandy via the Nassau Hurricane Recovery Fund.

A special seven-item menu for the night includes such popular items as the Hurricane chicken salad and “stormin’” Buffalo chips. There will also be raffles, prizes and, in Garden City, an appearance from Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano. The restaurant will also be holding a silent auction of rare comic books, comic book art, and autographed memorabilia.

Hurricane Grill & Wings is located at 630 Stewart Ave., Garden City, 516-542-9464, 275 Jericho Tpke., Syosset, 516-921-5464 and 3345 Hempstead Tpke., Levittown, 516-520-9464.
