Huntington Social first opened in 2011 in a second-story space overlooking Huntington’s Main Street. Now, the restaurant and bar has had a major menu change. Same chef — Christopher Lee — but, instead of a roster featuring entrees priced as high as $38, there is now a gently priced list of small plates, sandwiches and burgers, no dish costing more than $16.

“We wanted to be more approachable and draw large groups on weekends,” said chef de cuisine Luke Omarzu, who noted that many of the small plates — like Mary’s meatballs over polenta (formerly $9, now $7)  — are the same as before. Other small plate options include charred Spanish octopus ($8) and short rib flatbread ($9).

Also on the menu: baked or fried bourbon BBQ wings ($9), a wild mushroom Angus burger ($13) and a grilled tuna Hawaiian club sandwich ($14).

Huntington Social is at 330 New York Ave., Huntington, 631-923-2442.
