One way to get through the miseries of these weeks is with a good meal plus wine to match.

And HONU Kitchen and Cocktails in Huntington hosts an appetizing fall-harvest dinner on Wednesday.

The four-course meal will feature wines from the Constellation portfolio, which includes Ravenswood, Clos du Bois, Hogue and Ruffino.

Chef Robert Flaherty's menu includes golden beet and arugula salad; seared diver scallops with mascarpone polenta, corn and roasted fennel sauce, herb-crusted loin of venison with pumpkin spoonbread and a ragout of wild mushrooms; and riesling-poached pears.

The dinner starts at 6 p.m. Reservations suggested. Cost: $75 plus tax and tip.

HONU Kitchen and Cocktails, 363 New York Ave., Huntington; 631-421-6900.
