Jedediah Hawkins Inn, the handsome Italianate star in Jamesport, goes casual on Sunday with a holiday weekend pig roast.

The cost for the outdoor event is $65 for adults; $25 for children. The restaurant's new executive chef, Lia Fallon, said that in addition to the pig roast, there would be a raw bar, plus a hot dog cart for children. Beer and sangria are included for adults.

Fallon added that the Inn has a pond-side beach and has set up hammocks and Adirondack chairs for the May 26 festivities. The event, which will feature live music from the Mark Anderson Band, is from noon to 4 p.m. Bring your own picnic blanket.
