Curry Club closes in Hicksville

Curry Club has left the Hicksville restaurant scene. The offshoot of the long-standing East Setauket Indian restaurant opened in 2011 and didn’t make its second anniversary.
The place earned two and a half stars in a Newsday review in 2011 for such dishes as chooza kebab — marinated grilled dark meat chicken with onions and peppers — as well as an electrifying lamb Vindaloo and rich saag paneer (spinach with cheese).
You can find those dishes and more at the original Curry Club, 766 Rte. 25A, East Setauket, 631-751-4845.
