Ciao Bella offers weeknight value in Hewlett
Che bella! Ciao Bella in Hewlett is running a $24.95 fixed-price, three-course, early-bird, weeknight menu that allows diners to enjoy any appetizer, pasta or main and dessert from the regular menu. There’s plenty to choose from: Appetizers include homemade mozzarella with tomato and roasted peppers, mussels Posillipo, Caesar salad, eggplant rollatine; pastas and main courses include cavatelli Bolognese, spaghetti carbonara, veal piccata, chicken Parmesan and sole oreganata. Desserts are homemade and change regularly.
Freddy Samarone’s rustic, homestyle Italian menu is already a good value, with antipasti and salads around $10, pasta around $16 and mains in the low $20s. From Tuesday through Friday, 5 to 7 p.m., it’s a real deal.
