Bud's Ale House closes in East Farmingdale

Bud’s Ale House in East Farmingdale served its last Bud this past weekend. The sports bar and grill barely lasted four months in the former digs of a Hooters restaurant.
Having eaten there just last week, I can only say that I’m hoping for something better -- lots better -- to take up residence in the capacious space. The Route 110 industrial corridor has long been short on great casual dining options.
