Almond's chef cooking al fresco in East Hampton
Jason Weiner, chef at three-star Almond in Bridgehampton, will prepare dinner in an East Hampton farm field on Sept. 10.
The dinner is from Outstanding in the Field, a "roving restaurant" that stages dining events introducing guests to farmers and artisanal food producers at the source. The farm-dinner series started in 1999.
The East Hampron dinner is slated to be held at EECO Farm. The event will include a glass of wine, hors d'oeuvres, a tour of the farm and a four-course dinner paired with wines. Tickets cost $220 per person. The event starts at 3 p.m.
