Almond in Bridgehampton: Food for thought
Maybe the lines for gasoline will be shorter next week.
So, one way to take your mind off the miseries of nor'easters and hurricanes, at least for an evening: artists-and-writers nights at three-star Almond.
The second dinner in the monthly series is on Wednesday, Nov. 14, and the guest of honor is playwright Jon Robin Baitz, whose work includes "Other Desert Cities" and a new version of Ibsen's "Hedda Gabler." Baitz also has written for television and created the ABC drama "Brothers and Sisters."
Chef Jason Weiner will prepare a family-style, three-course dinner. The cost is $40, and includes a glass of local wine or craft beer, plus tax and tip.
