"Top Chef "contestant Nikki Cascone will be helping the Meat House in Roslyn celebrate its first anniversary with two pasta-making classes, the first on Thursday, the second on Saturday.
Cascone, who was eliminated in the ninth episode of the fourth season, was praised by host Padma Lakshimi as a “human pasta machine.”
At the Meat House she will demonstrate how to mix, knead, roll and shape three types of fresh pasta -- semolina, whole wheat and buckwheat -- and then prepare a pasta dish for all participants to sample.
The price of the class is $65 per person. The first is on Feb. 28 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., the second on March 2 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Space is limited and reservations are required.
The Meat House is at 1085 Northern Blvd., Roslyn, 516-307-9880.
