A Lure in Southold reopens for season
A Lure, chef Tom Schaudel's waterside seafood restaurant in Southold, reopens Thursday night.
The restaurant at the Port of Egypt marina initially will be open Thursday through Sunday, with dinner starting at 5 p.m.
A Lure is situated on the site that for decades housed Armando's Seafood Barge, later known as The Seafood Barge.
It's popular for steamed lobster, fried local oysters, chowders, marinated and grilled swordfish with Thai green curry, potato-crusted hake, chile-dusted yellowfin tuna with soba noodle, and, for the carnivore, roasted pork tenderloin with sweet potato puree and grilled asparagus.
