Type: Deli Special features: Breakfast Price range: $ (Inexpensive) Description:

Strategically located mere steps away from the gastronomic mecca Trader Joe's, Boomy's is a fine place for a meal--or just a mid-afternoon nosh. Standard diner fare is available, with such modern innovations as Caesar and oriental salads, veggie and turkey burgers, and even wraps. But Boomy's strong suit is its extensive selection of unreconstructed kosher deli favorites: corned beef, pastrami, brisket, hard salami and tongue among the sandwiches; sweet and sour tongue, chopped liver, stuffed derma and cabbage, gefilte fish and fried kreplach (with friend onions no less) among starters. Boomy's is strong on chicken. Have it roast, Greek-style, Southern-fried, sweet-and sour, fricasee or in the pot. Other traditional entress include potted meatballs, Hungarian goulash and flanken. Hebrew National franks and specials, potato knishes, kasha varnishkes. What could be bad?

Hours: Monday to Sunday, 9 am.m to 9 p.m. Reservations: Not Accepted Accessibility: Yes
