Bob’s is certainly a handsome place, with a high ceiling, wood furnishings and a sophisticated, polished look. The cuisine is New American, with such dishes as Blue Point crab cakes and grilled chicken breast with butternut squash ravioli, goat cheese and craisins. The appetizers are also quite unique, featuring offerings like shrimp and grits, onion soup gratin and a hummus platter. Come Sunday, there is a brunch menu available, and like its daily counterpart, items here are not found on most other menus—for while there are the usual omelets and eggs Benedict choices, fare like duckling ravioli and croissant French toast make for unexpected options.
