Without question, there’s nowhere from the Cross Island to the Montauk Lighthouse that does Mardi Gras like this full-time Cajun restaurant and bar (their website counts down the days to the next Fat Tuesday all year!), as the New Orleans festival is marked here with a yearly 8-day party of their own. However, the rest of the year is also handled with attention, as there are dining specials every week from Monday through Thursday, while Saturdays means a buffet and live music at 11 p.m. Sunday middays are also popular with a brunch enhanced with live jazz, and although the schedule is subject to change, Wednesdays and Fridays also receive a fairly-regular amount of band-playing events.
