4 places to get great Cobb salad on LI
Legend has it the Cobb salad was invented in the 1930s at the Brown Derby Restaurant in Hollywood, when owner Bob Cobb used up leftovers late at night. The classic version features chopped greens topped with chopped tomato, chicken breast, bacon, Roquefort cheese, hard-boiled egg and avocado, all arranged in decorative strips.
