Hofstra Arboretum

Spread across the 238-acre campus, with a pinetum and a greenway, Hofstra Arboretum has a sensory garden for disabled visitors with plants at wheelchair level and a water element for sound; the New American Garden on the north campus features easy-care perennials and ornamental grasses, and there's a bird sanctuary with waterfall and songbird study garden, open on request. Visitors also can take a self-guided tour of the gothic labyrinth made from 40 feet of circular granite with parterre.
