Harbor Links, designed by Dr. Michael Hurdzan, was built in 1998 on a reclaimed sand mine adjacent to water. It has some interesting features, including a stabilized sand bluff with teeing areas that step up a steep slope. Three holes have split fairways, which allow the golfer a choice off the tee. Holes 12 and 13 sit on an area that was used for tailings from the mine and look very similar to a western style desert course.
The nine-hole executive course is a still challenge for skilled golfers yet comfortable for the beginner, too.
This venue also hosts weddings and other special events amidst the scenic fairways and greens. The venue can host 100-280 people and costs $65-$75 per person.
