ON THE MENU Heirloom varieties of tomatoes, melons, squash, greens; herbs, root vegetables such as carrots, beets, potatoes, cucumber; farm-raised strawberries are part of the regular vegetable share.
ABOUT THE FARM This exclusively CSA farm is all about education. Members receive a weekly newsletter that includes cooking tips, recipes and nutritional information about the vegetables grown. This is the 17th year of the farm and the 12th year of the CSA.
"No one will be stuck with vegetables they don't know what to do with," says co-owner Maggie Wood of the attempt to educate share members about what they receive. The farm also offers tours and member-only events throughout the year.
