Looking for things to do with the kids this weekend? From the Spring Family Freshwater Festival to breakfast with the Easter Bunny and more, there's plenty of activities happening on Long Island. Here are my top five picks for family-friendly activities this weekend:

Spring Family Freshwater Fishing Festival at Belmont Lake State Park (Exit 38 off Southern State Parkway, North Babylon). The festival on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. includes open fishing, fishing classes, fly casting demonstrations and a fish cleaning station. Other events include children's activities, temporary tattoos and hands-on educational exhibits. Price: Free with an $8 parking fee.

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny at Constantino Brumidi Lodge (2075 Deer Park Ave., Deer Park). On Sunday from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., take pictures with the Easter Bunny while enjoying a buffet breakfast. Price: $7, free for children 3 and younger.

Nano Days at the Maritime Explorium (101 East Broadway, Port Jefferson). See how nanotechnology affects your everyday life through fun activities on Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. Price: $5.

'From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler' at Van Nostrand Theatre (Suffolk Community College Crooked Hill Rd., Brentwood). Adapted from the novel by E.L. Konigsburg, the show invites the audience to join Claudia Kincaid and her brother Jamie on an adventure through the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Saturday at 1 and 3 p.m. Price: $8 adults and children, $7 seniors.

Theaterworks USA: 'Teacher From the Black Lagoon' at Landmark on Main Street (232 Main St., Port Washington). On Sunday at 2 p.m., kids and adults alike can enjoy a music revue based on favorite contemporary children's books. Price: $18.
