On Saturday, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., kids can climb all over trucks and vehicles that are usually off-limits, such as big rigs, fire and rescue trucks, police vehicles, boom cranes, military vehicles and more. Held at Eisenhower Park "Kite Field." Rain date is Sunday. Price: Free.

On Friday, at 7 p.m.; Saturday, at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. and Sunday, at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., families can enjoy a special performance of "Disney's High School Musical 2." The teen cast will perform in the evening, the junior cast performs Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Price: $15.
Mother's Day Messages at Maritime Explorium (101 E. Broadway, Port Jefferson). Using a variety of materials, kids will design a message in a bottle to give to their mom or grandmother on Saturday and Sunday from 1-5 p.m. Price: $5.
Brookhaven Fair at Pennysaver Amphitheater at Bald Hill (55 Bicycle Path, Farmingville). On Friday, from 5-11 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, from noon-11 p.m., check out entertainment, rides, games, fireworks and other attractions. Price: $8.
